People are divided into born polyglots (minority) and others (majority).

Polyglots can learn a language any way they want. For example, they may do that by traveling to another country and living there for several months.

• Train with a teacher 2-3 times a week for several years
• Every weekday they study 5-6 hours at a full-time language school – 3 months for one level, 9
  months until they reach level B1
• Use a full immersion system like ours

Pros:

• Explanation of confusing points in grammar
• Convenient speaking practice
• Help with motivation, only in a case of personal compatibility with the teacher

Cons:

• The learned material is quickly forgotten, since the interval repetition system is not used
• Listening comprehension is limited by the teacher’s accent. As a result, other people will be very
  difficult to understand
• Vocabulary is learned painfully and mostly by yourself

As a result of these activities, you gain a good understanding of grammar and some conversational practice, but you:

• don’t accumulate a developed vocabulary;
• do not develop the ability to understand people with different accents;
• do not understand films and books in a foreign language;
• you cannot freely communicate with foreigners on a variety of topics without long-term independent practice;
• spend a lot of effort, money and time.

Cons:

• Learn grammar on your own with the help of video lessons or by reading a text description

• Our app doesn’t force you to learn like a teacher does. But you don’t need strong willpower for that – just switch on the application several times a day for 10-15 minutes and do short pleasant tasks. Thanks to this, our students have no problems with motivation.

Pros:

• Short, frequent lessons increase learning efficiency up to three times in comparison with standard methods due to the laws of human memory. For example, after a 15-minute lesson, the brain “repeats” the material for another 30 minutes, and the real learning process lasts 45 minutes instead of 15. Such short lessons during the day are impossible with a teacher. An additional plus – the brain does not have time to be “overloaded” with a large amount of information, and attention is not scattered as it happens in lessons with a teacher.
• The “smart” system calculates the optimal time interval for the next repetition of each specific
  phrase in grammar, dictionary and writing programs.
